The Team

Lyndsey- CEO
I am passionate about making mental health accessible for all, and I originally joined SGW as a volunteer in early 2024 before coming on board as CEO in July of the same year.
Having started my career in football governance, I then moved into working in the third sector- including a domestic abuse charity, a psychology service and a Quaker organisation. I feel lucky to have had 18 months as a stay at home mum, when I also helped to set up and run a weekly peer support group as a safe space for struggling mums to get tea, toast and a friendly listening ear.
In my spare time I like weightlifting, gardening, reading, going to gigs and finding the best coffee shops!

Mica- Service Manager
I have always been interested in wellbeing and in particular the intersection of psychology, creativity, and wellbeing. With an academic background in psychology, philosophy, and cognitive neuroscience, I’m currently working toward a doctorate in counselling psychology while also being a qualified mindfulness practitioner.
My research has explored the connection between the arts, empathy and mental health, and as a writer and poet, I deeply believe in the power of creativity for healing and self-discovery. I’m passionate about creating safe and expressive spaces where people can explore their experiences and be themselves.

Georgia- Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner
Hello, my name is Georgia and I am an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner for St Germain’s Wellbeing. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their wellbeing journey. I help lead workshops on a range of wellbeing topics such as anxiety, stress management, and low mood as well as offering one-to-one sessions. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for people to share their feelings.
Outside of work, you will either find me studying for my Counselling Psychology Professional Doctorate, or enjoying peaceful walks at National Trust sites. I am also an avid reader of sci-fi fantasy and enjoy immersing myself in creative arts and crafts projects.

Janet- Volunteer Triage Lead
I started Volunteering for St Germains Wellbeing Service over 4 years ago during the Pandemic not long after taking early retirement. So many people struggled with their mental health then and now and are in need of support.
I get a sense of satisfaction knowing that I am part of an organisation that offers the support people need and helps them on their journey towards a healthier wellbeing.

Julia- Volunteer
I am now retired but used to work as a primary school teacher and Headteacher. Later I managed 2 church and community centres.
Knowing that so many people are struggling with their mental health, I feel that volunteering with the Emotional Wellbeing Service gives me an opportunity to talk with people and put them in touch with the practitioners who can give them sympathetic and expert support
