1:1 guided self-help sessions
We know how daunting it can feel getting support- here at St Germain’s Wellbeing all our staff have lived experience of mental health challenges. That’s why we make our setting as comfortable and non-clinical as possible- we want the people who use our service to feel like they are being truly listened to in a non judgemental way.
We are really proud of our effective* 4-6 session therapy model- our one-to-one support sessions for adults age 18+ experiencing low level mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, last 50-60 minutes and can be done in person, online or by phone.
The sessions aim to empower the individual to learn to self-manage their condition and are structured around a model of psychoeducation- helping people to better understand their emotions and teaching evidence based self-help skills and strategies.

* Our 2024 data measured using WEMWBS showed that 85.5% of people experienced a clinically significant improvement in their mental health.
